wear your hearts on your knees

Just when I thought it was time to put away the shorts, the weather suddenly warmed up! As you can see, I have a very summer-y outfit on, despite the fact that it is the end of September. Speaking of being the end of September, am I the only one who is freaked out by how fast it flew by? I have midterms this whole week, which means half of the semester is already done. That is pure craziness.

In between studying for midterms and working, I managed to squeeze in lunch and a blog shoot with Camille! I always look forward to our "blogger dates," as we always find a new place to take pictures and grab a bite. Today, we headed to Chinatown and ate some awesome Chinese food. (duh) We stuffed ourselves with dim sum, won tons, and chow mein. And of course, you can't leave Chinatown without bubble tea! (And yes, I specifically got strawberry bubble tea to match my shorts. #bloggerpriorities)

I should get back to studying now...

Hope you all had a nice weekend!

I think this outfit proves that I am totally obsessed with burgundy. I think it's the perfect shade for fall and winter. I am on the hunt of the perfect burgundy lipstick! Any suggestions?

Bonjour Automne

Trench coat, Forever21____Denim top/skirt/socks/shoes/hair bow, American Apparel____Bag, Korea

My favorite season is here: fall. As you can see, I am already rocking my trench coat and knee highs. It's that time of year to wrap up in circle scarves, sip on pumpkin spice lattes, and enjoy the beauty changing leaf colors. The weather has been erratic; one day it's sunny with a high of 23 C, the next is rainy with a high of 10 C. This weather is pretty much the perfect condition to get sick, so I gotta remind myself to stock up on oranges and honey tea!

Graphic tees with attitude are a big trend right now. I am obsessed with this one I'm wearing: two bananas in a Chanel logo shape flicking each other off. How awesomely random is that?

Happy Monday, and have a great week everybody!

The final post from Montreal Fashion Week! There were booths by Covergirl and Pantene, offering free makeovers to the show attendees. I didn't take advantage of this because I unfortunately didn't have enough time between shows. However, the cocktail area was very beautiful and another wing of the venue displayed great pieces of art.

I have to be honest with you guys by saying that I was a little intimidated by all the other people who attended the fashion shows. Not only because I was one of the youngest people there, but also because it was my first experience being surrounded by so many stylish people in the fashion industry. I'm not a person that gets shy very often, but I definitely was at this event, especially in the first few shows. However, I did find the courage to introduce myself to some people, and I am so happy that I did. I was able to meet other bloggers in Montreal, and it was amazing to see how many connections I was getting in just one night. I started my fashion blog two years ago sort of on a whim, but now that I am meeting such awesome people, attending shows, and going backstage, it feels almost surreal. I mean, it's not New York Fashion week, or backstage at Chanel, but it's a great start and I know that it's just the beginning!

Here's to being a part of blogger nation!
