Can't believe yet another year has flown by. (Quite honestly, I still feel like a little 14 year old.) Today, I was showered with love and kind words, and overdosed on sushi. Oh, and cake. I STILL don't have my driver's license yet... need to get on that ASAP.

good to be back

Over the 3-day weekend, I visited my sister who is living in Montreal, Canada. I used to live in Montreal up until the fourth grade, and this was my first time going back ever since I moved away!! It was so cool going back to places I used to go to all the time when I lived here, and it's crazy to think it was that long ago. Time literally zooms by. 

I also got to meet up with one of my best friends from elementary school. Honestly, it felt surreal that I haven't met her in person for so long. With facebook, it's so easy to stay in touch with people by creeping on their pictures to see what their up to. We're both so much older, but at the same time, it feels like nothing really changed. We're basically the same as we were in fourth grade, except a little taller and addicted to mascara. 

It is approaching midnight as I write this... my thoughts? I really am not looking forward to the whole wake-up-for-school thing... 

anyways, here's to visiting hometowns and old friends. <3
