I already miss my blonde hair. :/ 

Combination of needing to take a professional headshot pic, entering university next fall, and getting sick of bleaching my hair led me to go back to brown. I still really love the chocolate brown inspired by Olivia Palermo, but I can't help to mourn the platinum girl inside me. #SobStory

But finally it's warming up! FINALLYYYYY 

I'm on my spring break right now. I visited New York City for a few days. It was so amazing to experience the city again, this time with a really special person. <3

Some exciting updates: 

- got into the university I wanted!

- moving to a new place in May 

- purchased a light bulb ceiling planter... google it. it's the best thing everrrr!

I'm wearing the five essential items that every woman should have in her wardrobe: 

1. A fitted black blazer that can go from the office to dinner. 

2. A white button up shirt. Duh. 

3. Boyfriend jeans. You guys are probably sick of seeing these by now... but this outfit is evidence that hobo-chic is a thing, and not solely hobo. 

4. A structured black handbag that will last you for years. See it as an investment. There, I just gave you more justification to splurge.

5. Black heels, which are self-explanatory. 

I think you all know by now the big blogger secret that outfit posts are usually prepared days in advance before publishing. Well, that is really the case here because I've been sick as a dog this past week. I somehow managed to show up to classes everyday, write an essay until 4 am, and take a midterm on Friday morning. The power of running on adrenaline is REAL. Now that the weekend is here, I am not leaving my bed and ordering vegan delivery for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Let's hope the kombucha juices will help me get better by Monday.

Another easy way to wear hobo chic style boyfriend jeans. This one is a simple look that makes me look like a wanna be skater girl. Nothing wrong with that. My blonde hair has made my love for beanies grow even more, and now that fall is here, the beanie game is ON. 

Quick update on my life: I visited my parents house last weekend during Canadian Thanksgiving, and I'm so thankful to have been able spend at least a few days with them. The timing was perfect as my birthday was a few days ago, and I was able to blow out the candles on the cake as my last year in the teens. I also celebrated with a group of friends at a bring-your-own-wine restaurant. So ya... it was a blast.

I found the perfect pair of extreme rip, hobo-chic boyfriend jeans and have been wearing them almost every other day since. They feel like sweatpants, but look good with everything. And this turtleneck is pretty much a wearable blanket, which I need since I am on the verge of catching a cold. This has been my go-to outfit for school and chill weekends.

During my spring break, I spent the week at my parent's house in Atlanta. Having a break from the snow and freezing temps. of Montreal is a vacation in of itself. I took advantage of this time to create a look book video of some spring outfit ideas! Garage sent me some items, and I got to shop for some pieces of my own to style. Hope you guys like the looks.

Hello hello people!

Here is a very casual weekend outfit featuring two "borrowed from my fictional boyfriend" items: loose boyfriend jeans and an oversized blazer. I actually got the jeans from the men's section at Gap, and cuffed the ankles and added some rips. The blazer was recently purchased from Zara. They are having a massive winter sale, so go check them out! I love the pleather detail on the pocket flaps of this one. And of course, I have to wear lace with any outfit to add a feminine touch. 

So life has been pretty uneventful, but January still flew by! My mom left for Korea today, and won't be back for a month... just me and my daddy-o again!
