Happy Easter everyone!!!

I am currently back at my parents' house for the weekend, and enjoying the sunshine and warmth to the max. As the semester is coming to a really quick end, I have multiple papers to work on. It's so bad because i'm definitely procrastinating more now that the weather is nice, and we all feel a little lazier as summer break approaches, right? ONE MONTH LEFT!

I like to blame a lot of things on the warming weather, and one of them is my increased shopping. Haha, but c'mon, I'm coming out of my "all black errthang" winter hibernation. This light pink moto jacket is a breath of fresh, spring air to me. I usually don't buy faux leather from Forever 21, but this jacket material is impressively high in quality and doesn't have that cheap/shiny leather look. And can we please take a moment to acknowledge my new phone case? Yes, the chain does get kind of annoying, but I am obsessed with it! A mini chanel boy bag... can't afford the real thing, so this will do for now ;)

Hope you all had a beautiful Easter Sunday, and thank you so much for reading as always!

PINK SNOW LEOPARD

VICTORY IS MINE! (imagine me shouting this as I pretend to like snow in the last picture^^)

After searching around for a year (yes, a whole YEAR) for the perfect leopard coat, I finally found this one from Jollychic.com ... Why did it take me a whole year to commit? After all, it is just a coat, right? Well, yes and no. I found it quite hard to find a leopard coat with the right length, the right color tone, and level of furriness. The one from Zara was too long, the one from Asos was an odd dark leopard, and the one from Forever 21 had a hood with ears on it. (I think I graduated eared-hoods when I was six, thank you very much) So when I found this one online, it was a shopping eureka moment. The shipping kind of took a long time, so when it came in the mail, it felt like a surprise because I almost forgot I ordered it. At first sight, even I was a little intimidated by the bold print. But the more I wear it, that exact boldness is growing on me. Plus, it's extremely warm!

You probably noticed the random lay out of the pictures, because there are two different backgrounds. Well, my sister and I took these pictures on our way to lunch, and I think it would be a blogger sin to pass by a PINK HOUSE without taking outfit pictures in front of it. And you gotta admit, the leopard print against the pink wall is a match made in a blogger's heaven.

January Favorites!

We're already one month into January! How are your New Year's resolutions going? Mine are going pretty well, but it's only been one month so I hope to keep the momentum going...

From concealer to wall decoration, here are my January favorites! Quite the random assortment of items, I must say.

I've had this black pea coat for almost six years, before it was time to finally let it go. I honestly don't even remember where I got it from, it's been that long. I've worn it religiously every winter, and it's one of those items that you know you should get rid of (as you can see in the detail shot, the material is really worn out), but simply can't because it's so versatile. But finally, we parted ways and it always feels good to lighten up your closet from old clothes. Now, I just need to find a replacement for it.

I'm now leaving for the airport for a super exciting trip abroad. Of course, I will be taking tons of pictures to share later... I won't be bringing my laptop during my trip, so my next post will be next year. Gosh, time really flies. Have an awesome holiday season and happy new year!

Follow me on instagram because I will be updating on there until I get back home. :)

WANNA-BE WANG

Skirt/sweater/fanny pack, American Apparel____Top, Local boutique____Shoes, Forever21____Watch, Casio

The hunt is over. Ever since I saw these Alexander Wang-esque heels on Instagram and on other bloggers, I knew I had to get my hands on them. I don't know why it was so hard to find these shoes, but long story short, it took me three weeks before I could find a pair in my size that weren't damaged in some way! The main difference between these ones from Forever21 and the real Wangs is that the real one has one extra strap that goes up the ankle. Oh, that, and... the fact that these were only $50. Which, I have to say is a kind of a lot considering they are from Forever. But hey, I'm just a student and they work for me. I just love the cool cutouts, and how they can be dressed up or down. The only downside is that they give me blisters on the back of my heels, but that's what band-aid is for!

The school semester is officially over, and I just have two finals left! It's crazy how fast time went by, but I am counting down the days until I can fly back home to see my parents and spend Christmas together. Good luck to everybody out there during finals! We're almost there!

Spoiler Magazine Fashion Board I

Jacket, Korea____Sweater, Zara____Skirt, Forever21____Boots, DSW____Hat, H&M

Last week, I was reached out by Spoiler Magazine, asking me if I would like to be featured on their Fashion board. (I think it's obvious what my response was: OF COURSE!) Spoiler is a magazine specialized to deliver the latest news in Montreal's fashion industry. (hence, "spoiler" alert) I was very excited for this opportunity as I was an avid reader, and as a blogger, it is awesome to be recognized in a real magazine.

I had so much fun shooting with the talented photographer, Sarah-Emily, who is also one of the editors at Spoiler. We agreed to take pictures around Old Montreal, which was a great choice as there were lots of cool doors and streets to use as a background. I styled a total of five outfits showcasing my personal style. My outfits really don't reflect how cold the weather was, and I am surprised that I didn't get sick the next day. (All in the name of fashion, right?) By the end of the shoot, Sarah's poor fingers turned into popsicles! But after seeing the great results from our shoot, I think braving the cold was totally worth it.

PRINCE AND GREENE ST.

Jacket, Korea____Top, American Apparel____Pants, Forever21____Boots, Topshop____Bag, Prada____Watch, Casio

My sister and I flew down to NYC last weekend for a quick two-day trip. We really had a limited amount of time, so we tried to make the most of it. We visited the Brooklyn flea market, ate amazing pizza, met up with my friend (HI BON!), gorged on Korean food, and then went speed shopping in Soho before heading to the airport. It truly was a "New York Minute" trip and I can't wait to go back again.
