They say that Paris is the perfect city to fall in love, but I have to add that it is also the perfect city to fall in love with. The history, the sights, the food, and Parisians themselves are amazing. This was my second visit to this city, the last time being when I was in middle school. So of course, now that I'm in college, exploring Paris for the second time felt like a whole new experience. I think we were so lucky to have been able to travel here during the holidays because all of the Christmas lights and markets made the city such a magical place. And to top it all off, my family and I rang in the new year with a view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower at midnight. Again, it was simply magical!

Hope you guys like the pictures and video. I couldn't wait until I could share these moments with you all. :)

On another note, I'm sure you have noticed a few changes on my blog. Well, not a few actually... I got a whole blog design renovation!!! After using the simple ready-made Blogger template for two years, I thought it was time for a change. (New year, new blog design) I absolutely love the simplicity and ease of navigation of this template. It was done by the amazing Natalie from Revel and Design. Check her site out here: www.revelanddesign.com

I would love to hear any feedback on the new look!

Postcards from Seoul

Here is a compilation of pictures I took during my month in South Korea. I spent most of my time in the capital city of Seoul, seeing my family and catching up with friends. Seoul is a bustling city that literally never sleeps, crowded with people as if it were every night was a Friday. I visit Korea almost every summer, and it is a different experience every year! I always meet new people, discover a favorite dessert cafe, and buy clothes that no one else would have in the States. Coming back home and seeing these pictures feels like it was all just a dream because the month flew by so fast. I can't wait to go back~!

HeyDahye VLOG: Italy 2013

At last, this is my final (yes, LAST!) post about Italy. I'm pretty sure you guys are sick of hearing me blab on about my trip. I noticed that the content is 70% food related... very typical of me!

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Italy Day 6: VATICAN CITY

Vatican City, Italy
Dress, H&M____Bag, J. Crew____Sandals, Mango____Sunglasses, Chloe

Last day in Italy was spent at Vatican City. Taking in all the beauty of St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel was unreal. Breathtaking to say the least, and it was a great way to wrap up the week long tour of Italy.

Tomorrow, I am going back to the States. One month in Korea flew by, and I can't believe it is already the end of July! Everyday was a blessing to see my family and old friends, all the while making new friends along the way.

Now I have to deal with the most dreaded part of traveling: packing for home.

Italy Day 5: ROME

Laduree in Rome!
Dress, Erin Fetherston____Shoes, New Balance____Bag, J. Crew____Sunglasses, Chloe____Watch, Target____Rings, DIY

When in Rome... I think Rome is the city that really made me fall deep in love with Italy. Everything about the city is beautiful and rich in history. The people are friendly, the food is amazing, and the street fashion is on point. There is so much to see in Rome, but it is all within walking distance from each other so we were able to see many of the major tourist spots in one day.

Current update from Korea: Today, I went to a mNet K-pop concert! It was jam packed with die-hard fans (ahem.. me), and the venue was first-come-first-served standing room. We managed to squeeze near the stage and I was on TV for a whole 5 seconds! Very exciting in my book. It was awesome to see my favorite korean singers live, and so up close. I will post pictures when I get back to the States!

Summer is definitely flying by too fast, but I hope you are all enjoying the last few weeks!

Italy Day 4: PISA

Holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

Dress, Juicy Couture____Shoes, Madewell____Bag, J.Crew

The fourth day in Italy was spent in Pisa, the location of the infamous Leaning Tower. It probably took a good half an hour to get the right angle and position to take the picture above^^^. It's actually pretty funny to look around and see all the tourists doing the same pose, looking like they are holding up the tower. It's amazing how the tower started to lean, but it is still holding up centuries later!

As of now, I am still in Korea! I actually got my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday, so my face resembles a chipmunk. Any tips on how to reduce swelling would be much appreciated. :P
