Striped

Hello!

This went by pretty fast. Lots of tests and quizzes... Next week is homecoming week at my school, so I'm really excited for the crazy dress-up days! One of the days is Harry Potter themed. Some people really go all out, and it's always so fun to see! My favorite is when the teachers participate in the school spirit; I can't take them seriously when they are teaching though. :P

Today I wore a pretty preppy outfit. The weather has been surprisingly warm and sunny. Yay!

Belt: Korea
Ring: Forever21
Watch: Target

Sweater: GAP
Shorts: Korea
Shoes: GAP

I absolutely love this bright orange-red color. The shoes go so well with the stripes. The shorts are loose and comfortable, with a very light cotton-y fabric. I just noticed how white my feet are compared to the rest of my body!

lightly done

Hello everbody!

Point of picture: to show the flowiness at the hem. :P

Wearing the Juicy Couture ring I won from a give away.

Blazer: Korea
Dress: GAP
Loafers: Thrift store
Bag: PacSun

I went to GAP, and saw these shoes! ^^ Don't they look like they were MADE for this outfit? Like the color, style, the little bow. They are so cute, but no..I did not buy them. :( I can't spend any money on spontaneous purchases! I wore this outfit to a B.P. Nordstrom Fashion Board meeting. (what a mouthful) It's basically a fashion club at BP to talk about fashion, makeup, etc. It is SO fun!

Missoni for Target

Hey everybody, I hope you all had a great weekend!

So, in my last post I had mentioned how surprised I was at how fast the Missoni for Target line sold out! I really underestimated it. I heard it was crazy to the extent that target.com had to shut down?! I live in suburbia, where for the most part, football comes before fashion. So, I really didn't think I had to rush to the nearest Target on the launch date, because with homework and activities, I really don't have time to spare. Well, I was wrong. My mom went to Target on that weekend, and she called me saying everything was basically gone! (cue dramatic music.) But, she did find me this great skirt from the kids section. Haha, thank goodness for size XL. Without further ado, here is the outfit.

Jean Chambray Dress

Hey everybody! I hope you are all having a good beginning of the week.

I want to say how surprised I was at how fast the Missoni for Target line sold out! I will have an outfit with my Missoni piece soon. :)

Today, I wore a HUGE jean chambray shirt. This shirt is actually my dad's super old one that he never wears. I thought this shirt was so ugly before, but now I don't know what I was thinking because I love it! It is Versace, which is probably the only reason why it was spared from the donation pile. I love the gold buttons, and it is a perfect dress length on me!

Jean dress/shirt: Versace (Dad's oldie but goodie.)
Belt: Korea
Tights: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Forever21

This belt adds form and a cute flair with the bow!

I love how these shoes are a cross between oxfords and ankle boots.

Ring & Watch: Target

* Sunshine Award *

I got my first ever blogger's award today from Rosalina, the writer of http://rosalinaaa.blogspot.com/

First of all, check her awesome blog out. She is such a sweetheart! Thank you so much for this award, Rosalina. I am a relatively new blogger, but blogging is such a big part of my life now! I blog in my free time, I constantly think of possible posts, and I am always looking at other blogs for inspiration. It is such a great, supportive community and I love being a part of it!

So, without further ado, here are my 10 random facts. WARNING: they are very random and show my indecisiveness as a person.

1. Favourite colour: Oh gosh.  I honestly can say I love every color that exists in this world. My "favorite" changes on a daily basis. But colors that I always fall back in love with is light pink, chocolate brown, and white.
2. Favourite animal: DOGS!!! Anything that is kind of chubby, like hippos and pandas. :P
3. Favourite number: Again, I really don't have one. But if I had to choose, it would be 16 because it is the date of my birthday, and ...idk I think it's just a good number!
4. Favourite drink: Bloody Mary. AHA JK. I would have to say Bubble Tea!
5. Facebook or Twitter: I currently do not have either for my blog, but that is definitely something I will create in the future. So stay tuned. :)
6. Your passion: Family, friends, fashion. Working hard to reach any goal that I have.
7. Giving or getting presents: A nice balance of both.
8. Favourite pattern: Leopard! A little touch of leopard never hurts.
9. Favourite day: Saturdays.
10. Favourite flowers: Lilacs.

Now, here are the 10 bloggers that I pass the Sunshine Award to. All of these blogs, I read, comment, and love. I am a random person, but these blogs were not chosen randomly. I chose these 10 for their own unique qualities. They deserve it!

Bloggers: post this award on your blog, answer 10 random questions, and pass it on the 10 other bloggers!

And again, thank you to my readers. Hope you have a great, fashionable day. :)

solid brights

Hey everybody!

Wow, the temperature totally DROPPED this week. Talk about bipolar...80 degrees one day, 60 degrees the next. But whatever, there is no snow on the ground so I wore my favorite mint green skirt! I paired it with a loose pink dolman style sweater top. I love how the back of this top is longer, letting just a little peek of green show. To go along with the solid colors, I threw on a grey circle scarf. I wore my nude oxfords, carried my pink cross-body, and turned my long hair into a bob!

Skirt: Korea
Top: Marshall's
Scarf: Korea
Bag: Korea
Shoes: Korea

Oh my gosh...I just noticed everything I have on is from Korea!!! Well, I went to Seoul this summer and let's just say that everywhere  you go: TONS of shopping. It's really great. I miss the food too. Wanna know something sad? I stilll haven't gone to Target yet to check out the Missoni line. There is never enough time during the weekdays, so that is definitely what I will be doing this weekend!

Happy Friday!

Lovely Accent Nail

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all having a great week. I just wanted to make a quick post about a super easy nail trend: the accent nail! It's exactly what it's called: one nail has an accent color to it! It's super easy and cute. I painted my nails with this gorgeous light cream color, and painted a gold glitter accent nail on my ring finger. The nude polish is very simple and understated, and the gold accent nail gives a nice Pop!

Ring: Forever21
Nude color: I got it at this cosmetics store in Korea called the FaceShop.
Gold Glitter: Milani "Gold Glitz"

And if you're wondering, I curled my hair loosely with a 1 1/2 inch curling iron. It's really quick and easy!

That's all for now...let me know what you think in the comments.

Bow at the Waist

Hey everyone!

So, my first week of school went by vvvveeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy sssllloooowwww. The first day of school was on Tuesday, which means the week was only 4 days. Why did it feel so long? Haha... well it was fun and great to see everybody again. It's weird seeing people actually in person after creeping on their Facebook during the summer. Okay, I know that sounded weird, but it's true! I meant to take pictures of my outfits before school in the mornings, but it was so hard to wake up early enough! I'm going to have to figure out a better blogging schedule to keep posting regularly. :P

Black Sweater: H&M
Shorts : GAP
Shoes: Target
Watch: Target

So, my homework load is really not that bad yet. (Emphasis on yet.) This outfit is very simple, but I love the girly details. Like the slight poof on the shoulders and the black bow on the shorts. I did a very quick and easy side braid for my hair.

How was your first week of school? Let me know what you think of this outfit, too!
Thanks for stopping by. :)
