Hello people!!!
During the past two days, I was in my favorite city in the world: New York City.
I think it is inevitable for any fashionista to be in love with this place. After all, it is a fashion capital. But it isn't only the fashion that draws me to this bustling city. It is the food, the culture, and the diversity of people that I love. The trip was only two short days, filled with eye-shopping, eating, and people watching. The street fashion is so fun! I was tempted to stop some people on the streets to ask them for a photo of their outfit, but New Yorkers all walk so fast, like they are on a mission. Well, they probably are on a mission of some sort...their morning Starbucks, I suppose? Here are some pictures I took here and there.
{Outfit details}
(Gold sweater, H&M)
(Blouse under, Thrifted)
(Dress worn as skirt, Hollister)
(Loafers, Thrifted)
(Sunglasses, Betsey Johnson "Raven")
(Purse, Mom's old MCM) ---> She wore it during her college years!
Coconut bubble tea
This collar necklace from Anthropologie is amazing. Crochet, gold, a touch of bling, and a bow. What's not to love?!
We always get a corned beef sandwich in NYC. To say that this sandwich is huge would be an understatement!
And a huge cheesecake for dessert. Food coma, anyone?
You guys know how much I love me a cute cupcake!
The Plaza: pretending to be Eloise, while sipping a non-alcoholic Shirley Temple.
The window display at Louis Vuitton from their Spring Merry-go-round. I got my eye on that eyelet collar.
My iPad twin! Sometimes, hanging out at the Apple store is just the way to go. People were already lining up outside the 5th avenue store TWO DAYS before for the launch of the latest iPad. I think that is cray-cray, but hey! Whatever floats your boat.
As soon as we got in Manhattan, the first thing my mom and I did was find Koreatown, and eat amazing Korean food that we can't eat where we live. It is seriously our NYC ritual or something. Then the rest of the day was high-end eye shopping, because the price tag is wayyyyy over my budget, wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over. But maybe one day, it won't be as far? (with hard, hard work of course :P)
So, that was my first day in the Big Apple. Stay tuned for day 2.
